Godzilla Sequel Confirmed

Well, that didn’t take long. Warner Bros. has  announced that a Godzilla 2 film is already in the works after opening internationally to an estimated box office pull over $100-million and $93-million domestically. The film stomped the box office this weekend, easily taking the number one spot. So far the film has established positive fan acclaim since opening in theaters earlier this week. With the success of this movie, it’s now time to speculate where a sequel could take audiences. Variety broke the story earlier today. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-EEqJ9HyTk Godzilla first appeared on screen in 1954 and has become a pop culture icon around the world. The newest film is the second American adaptation of the monster brought to cinema as an attempted re-boot at the hands of Roland Emmerich in 1998 fell short of expectations, squashing any hopes of further sequels then. Godzilla was directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen and Bryan Cranston. Check out the link below for the original article.
